Ken Lee
Co-founder, President & CEO
Ken Lee is CEO and Co-founder of Anka Systems, Inc. Prior to founding Anka Systems, Ken was the founder and CEO of IgT, an ATM networking company acquired by PMC-Sierra in the summer of 1998 for $55M. During his six years at IgT, revenue grew to $1M a month with a 75% gross margin. With 60 employees, one of IgT's key products included a voice-over-ATM solution, which captured 90% market share including customers like Lucent and Cisco. Before IgT, Ken worked at various networking for 10 years as both a hardware and software engineering manager. Altogether, Ken has over 20 years of industry experience as an entrepreneur and manager. Ken has both a B.S. and an M.S. in electrical engineering/computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
Imran Chaudhri
Co-founder, Vice President of Marketing
Imran joined Anka Systems to focus on the execution of Anka System's product definition, marketing, and customer management. Before joining Anka Systems, Imran was the CTO of Fast Tide, the worlds first operational performance based meta-content delivery network. Prior to Fast Tide, Imran was the Chief Network Architect for X-Stream Networks, England's third largest consumer ISP. Imran was also one of the founders and the Director of Technology at IgT where he was responsible for product definition and architecture. Imran has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from McGill University, a Masters degree in the same field from Cornell University and 16 years of experience in the industry.
Young Kim
Co-founder, Director of Product Development
As Director of Development at Anka Systems, Young's primary focus is on product development. Prior to co-founding Anka Systems, Young was a software engineer working on network and database design at Fast Tide, Inc. He has also previously worked with several international companies including Samsung, Toshiba and NTT as a systems, hardware design and application engineer. Young has received various awards for developing new technology and system architecture for digital audio, ATM and LAN technology with Samsung Electronics. Altogether Young has more than 16 years experience with Telecommunication and Application System Design in both hardware and software.
